Meet Annie

A playful, compassionate way to understand anxiety as part of being human.

I notice. I remember. I wonder what might happen next.

And when something gets my attention, I let you know.

“I’m just trying to keep you safe.”

Annie takes her job seriously.

I’m always trying to help you be prepared.

Sometimes I use what is happening right now.

Sometimes I pull out an old map.

Sometimes I make a prediction.

Sometimes I sound the alarm before all the information is in.

Annie doesn’t know everything.

I can notice something without knowing what it means. 👀
I can remember something without knowing whether it still applies. ☝️
I can warn you without knowing whether there is actually danger. ‼️

You may already know Annie.

Maybe she shows up at 2 A.M.

Maybe she asks “What if?” before breakfast.

Maybe she interrupts a perfectly ordinary afternoon because something suddenly seems worth mentioning.

Maybe she brings up an old situation just in case it matters now.

Annie has a lot of ways to get your attention.

Why I created Annie

Most people know what anxiety feels like.

Far fewer have had the chance to understand what it may be trying to accomplish.

I created Annie as a playful, compassionate way to help make anxiety more understandable—without turning it into the enemy.

Annie does not make the decisions.

She brings information.

She gets a vote.

You drive the car.

Understanding expands choice.
