WORK WITH ME

Online therapy in Florida for women recovering from emotionally harmful relationships and military spouses navigating the hidden impact of service.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

By the time most women reach out, they’ve already spent a long time trying to make sense of things on their own.

You’ve thought it through.
Replayed it.
Tried to approach it differently.
Tried to fix it, understand it, or move past it.

And still, something doesn’t feel settled.

That’s where this work begins.

What therapy with me looks like

This work isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about creating a space where you can begin to understand what happened—without pressure, without judgment, and without having to carry it alone.

We move at a pace that allows for clarity, not overwhelm.

In our work together, we focus on:

• Understanding the dynamics that shaped your experience

• Identifying patterns that have kept you stuck

• Rebuilding your sense of self and internal clarity

• Learning how to respond differently—without losing yourself in the process

Over time, this work leads to something steady:

A clearer mind.
A stronger sense of self.
The ability to trust your own judgment again.

How the process unfolds

While every person’s experience is different, most clients move through a similar progression.

We begin with stabilization—helping you feel more grounded, supported, and less overwhelmed by everything you’ve been carrying.

From there, we begin reconnecting you with yourself—your thoughts, your needs, your voice.

As your awareness deepens, we explore patterns:

What developed
Why it made sense at the time
What is no longer working

From there, we begin building something new:

Clearer boundaries
More stable emotional responses
A stronger sense of internal trust

This isn’t rushed work.
It’s intentional work.

And it leads to lasting change.

Who I work with

I work with women who are:

• Recovering from emotionally harmful or one-sided relationships
• Struggling with self-doubt, overthinking, or loss of self-trust

• Carrying the emotional weight of holding everything together
• Navigating the ongoing demands of military life as a spouse

Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the people in their lives.

But somewhere along the way, they lost connection with themselves.

This work helps you find your way back.

About me

Hi, I’m Carol.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing online therapy in Florida.

I work with women who have spent years holding everything together—often at the expense of themselves.

As a military spouse for over 20 years, I understand firsthand the unique demands, transitions, and emotional weight that often go unseen.

My approach is steady, thoughtful, and grounded.

I don’t rush the process, and I don’t see you as something to fix.

I sit with you, help you make sense of what you’ve been through, and support you as you begin to rebuild in a way that feels right for you.

Frequently asked questions

  •  I am a self-pay practice, which allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and depth in our work together.

  •  That’s not uncommon. Many clients come in feeling discouraged. This work focuses on deeper understanding and patterns—not just surface-level strategies.

  •  This depends on your goals and what you’re working through. The focus is on meaningful, lasting change—not quick fixes.

  •  The first session is a place to begin. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we simply start with what’s been weighing on you and go from there.
